So the dress is done, photos to come. I’m very happy with it, though it definitely looks better on me than on my cheap dress form. Now I’m working on the corset belt. I decided to go with the green brocade as it is a seriously close match to Gucci’s signature green color. I’m using the embroidered lace as decorative elements. We were only tasked with incorporating 3 print fabrics, but I’m sneaking a few extras in as they go so beautifully and definitely hearken to the feeling behind Gucci’s fall 2017 ready to wear line.

Still more work to go, and only a few days left. I’ll be thrilled to see it all come together!
