Well, it’s been a while. I wasn’t going to do this spring’s school fashion challenge, but my daughter convinced me. I took my daughter and her younger brother to see the Klimt & Rodin exhibit at the Legion of Honor. As it turns out, my daughter was simultaneously studying Klimt’s work in art class. So, when I told her about the challenge and that I was considering not doing it, she begged me to let her be my client. And, well, how could I say no. So we talked fabrics and materials, went on a trip to Stonemountain and Daughters together and finally found all the things we needed.

And so, I sketched out a few ideas, we agreed on one, and I’ve started sewing….
