I just received notice that I have been accepted as a teacher/vendor at the Alameda Mini-Maker Faire! If you are in town on July 8, please swing by the faire and check out my booth— Refashioning History! I’ll be showing some examples of what you can do with clothing items you might have otherwise tossed, including old pairs of jeans, vintage garments, and fabric scraps as well as teach some mending techniques to extend the life of your beloved garments. We’ll have a patching and mending station set up with super cool patches, so bring your ripped and torn jeans! I’ll have various mending notions and kits for sale as well as small gift items.
